Individual theaters would make these to inspire kids to see every chapter of whatever serial they were showing at their theater. The idea is, have your card punched when you see the first fourteen chapters and admission to the final chapter is free. Or, don't have your card punched at all, and end up with a valuable collectible sixty years later! Two designs are known, but there could be as many as there were exhibitors. No similar Spider Returns card has surfaced.
