For many pulp titles, including The Spider, Girasol Collectables is printing what they call "Replicas." These are the original pulps cover-to-cover like in a facsimile edition, but instead of being printed like a trade paperback they are printed like an old pulp: signatures stapled together, with a glossy paper cover glued on. At $35 each (which includes shipping & handling), the end result is more expensive than other reprints, but worth it for the added authenticity and completeness. Girasol have been printing them in order from the first issue, on a regular schedule of 8-per-year. Currently, there are 44 issues of The Spider available.
